Haverfordwest Airport is located adjacent to the A40 trunk road just two miles north of Haverfordwest.
Situated in the middle of the picturesque county of Pembrokeshire it offers flights over magnificent rolling countryside and around the spectacular scenery of the UK's only Coastal National Park.
Haverfordwest Airport has been licenced by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) since 1974.
Pembrokeshire County Council have undertaken a steady development programme, establishing the airport as a high quality facility to support business and general aviation activity.
The airport is wholly owned and operated by Pembrokeshire County Council.
Haverfordwest Airport has the greatest development potential when compared with the neighbouring airports in the region. The area is undergoing significant developments in the County related to the future green energy economy through Off-shore Floating Wind, Wave and Tidal and Hydrogen streams.
Haverfordwest Airport is one of the closest airports to Europe in the UK, which offers a potential opportunity moving forward in the light of the UK’s exit from the European Union. The airport also forms part of the Welsh Government’s designated Enterprise Zone with advantages of streamlined planning process. Historically it has been a much underdeveloped resource for the County and its further development has again come under scrutiny in the light of a prolific number of inward investment enquiries following the Covid pandemic.
